Tanya Topper
Co-Founder & Speech Therapist
Tanya Topper is a dedicated pediatric speech therapist with a passion for helping children reach their full communication potential. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan, laying a strong foundation in understanding human behavior and development. Motivated by a desire to specialize in communication disorders, Tanya pursued a Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology from Northwestern University, where she developed the expertise to effectively support children with a wide range of speech and language needs in a variety of different settings.
In 2014, Tanya founded Therapy Buddies, Inc., a pediatric therapy practice focused on providing personalized, compassionate care to children and their families. She strongly believes in the power of teamwork, recognizing that the best outcomes are achieved when parents, therapists, and other professionals collaborate closely. Tanya is committed to creating a supportive and engaging environment where children can thrive, working hand-in-hand with families and specialists to develop individualized therapy plans that meet each child’s unique needs. With over a decade of experience, she has become a trusted resource for parents seeking effective and evidence-based therapy solutions and continues to stay at the forefront of the field through ongoing professional development and collaboration with other experts.

Jenny Harris
Co-Founder & Occupational Therapist
Jennifer Harris is a licensed Occupational Therapist and specializes in working with pediatrics. She utilizes therapeutic interventions to address independent functioning skills, frustration tolerance, social-emotional skills, and fine motor skills. With a warm and empathetic approach, Jennifer has been instrumental in helping young clients navigate their developmental challenges and achieve their full potential.

Jennifer holds a Master's degree in Occupational therapy from the University of Rush Medical Center where she developed a keen interest in pediatric therapy. Her extensive experience includes working with children from infants to teeenagers across various settings, inclduing schools, clinics, and home environments. She is particularly skilled in designing individualeized therapy programs that address each child's unique needs and goals.

Her expertise in frustration tolerance helps children develop effective coping strategies and build resilience, while her work on social-emotional skills focusers better interpersonal relationships and emotional regulation. Jennifer's attention to fine motor skills supports children in achieving greater dexterity and precision in daily tasks, and her focus on overall independence empowers them to take charge of their own lives.
